Austria
One of our first trips was to Austria
Bodensee Walk
It actually took three trips to complete the walk around the lake. The first segment was the longest.
The short videos below are ones I made to document and share my and Cowboy’s trip around Bodensee (Lake Constance).
Must find Hotel
Day 1. Exhausted and ready to stop, we finally find a place to stay and we don’t care about the price. We are done!
Into Germany
Day 2. Unexpected heavy rain, despite the blisters, we made it to Stein Am Rhein and into Germany.
Captains Log
Day 3. Encountering nice people, but technology is primitive and having a hard time finding internet.
No Rules
Day 4. Following the no-rules rule, we decided to stop early after finding a nice place. Happy we did.
What day is it?
Day 5. Nice walk through the forest. Stopped “early” again. Morning rain cooled things down which made for a nice hiking day.
Blood and Bones
Day 6. After ripping off what I thought was a Band-Aid, all I have is a chunk of meat where my toe was.
Last day for now
Day 7. Made it to Immenstaad for the last day of the first segment. Taking a boat home tomorrow to Konstanz and walking to Kreuzlingen.
Titisee
Our first Birthday trip. We liked it so much Cowboy and I went back in November.
We found this awesome hotel called Alemannenhof that is located right on the lake. It is an amazing hotel with a wonderful breakfast that includes American BACON. The staff is amazing and you always feel special when you are there. Cowboy and I loved this place, as you can tell from my book.
